View approaching the gallery across the new pedestrian bridge
The new pedestrian bridge - which was installed in November 2008 - will lead visitors across the River Calder from the visitor car park to the gallery entrance.
Large windows will offer views into the gallery's ground floor public spaces including the café, shop, reception foyer, and state of the art learning centre.
The café will be accessible directly from the terraces in front of the main entrance.
