View approaching gallery across new pedestrian bridge
The new pedestrian bridge will lead visitors across the River Calder from the visitors' car park and coach drop-off area on Thornes Lane, to the gallery entrance and to the waterfront development beyond.
Large windows will offer views into the gallery's ground floor public spaces including the café, shop, reception foyer, and workshop spaces.
The café will be accessible directly from the terraces in front of the main entrance.
