On behalf of The Hepworth Wakefield Team, we are consulting citizens on potential uses for the Watermill in order to ensure it benefits local people.
So far, suggestions from citizens include:
- Interpretation of the history of the Watermill and Waterfront area
- Creative activities for young people, for example music, film and photography
- A space for art exhibitions for local artists to show their work
- A model of renewable energy, bringing the water wheel back to life
