British Art 1975 to Present Day

The Hepworth Wakefield’s most recent acquisitions of modern and contemporary art feature in this space, including major work by artists as diverse as Maggi Hambling, Sonia Lawson, Bruce McLean, Anthony Caro, Bryan Kneale, Kim Lim, John Maine, William Pye and William Tucker.

It also houses newly commissioned work for the permanent collection including multi-media and installation based work reflecting the nature of visual art practise at the beginning of the 21st century.
