The Hepworth at Work gallery will give visitors to The Hepworth Wakefield a unique insight into Barbara Hepworth's creative process.
The gallery will show a range of original material from Hepworth's Palais de Danse studio in St Ives including her workshop tools, objects of inspiration and rare film and photographs of the artist at work.
These objects - supported by graphic panels and interactive displays - will tell the story behind the creation of the sculptures on show in the main Hepworth gallery. They will evoke the sense of a great sculptor at work.
The Hepworth at Work gallery also describes how Hepworth created some of her most important public commissions, such as the monumental Single Form for the United Nations building in New York.
Take a tour to see some of the material that will be on show in the Hepworth at Work gallery.
