Wakefield and Yorkshire in Pictures

This gallery will showcase The Hepworth Wakefield's collection of images of Wakefield and Yorkshire - one of the finest in the region. 

It provides an opportunity for visitors to see how the urban and rural landscape of the region has evolved from the late 17th Century to the present day.

The highlight of this gallery is the rarely seen Gott Collection.

This unique collection includes over 1,200 prints, watercolours, sketches, maps and plans, showing the architecture and topography of more than 200 Yorkshire towns and villages between the 17th and 19th centuries.
