Learning is at the heart of The Hepworth Wakefield
Visitors to the gallery will be able to explore art, architecture and design through a varied programme of talks, tours, lectures, workshops, film screenings and community events.
The dedicated £2 million learning centre will be an important resource for schools and colleges, offering hands-on workshops led by professional artists that will give budding Hepworths and Moores the chance to create and exhibit their own masterpieces.
Resources for schools will also include:
- Teacher’s packs
- Handling collections
- Study Packs for students
- Interactive displays
- Training days for teaching staff
