The exhibition of the work at Wakefield Art Gallery was extremely varied, with a large batik textile wall hanging, foil and wire sculptures, plaster shapes and designs, and graceful copper sculptures mirroring those of Barbara Hepworth.
This bright and colourful sculpture hanging in the gallery windows is a piece inspired and created by Wakefield City High School. They used the footprint and room layout of the gallery to create the patterns and shapes seen in the design made from coloured vinyls and perspex.
