Materials like aluminium foil and embroidery thread are also good for making sculptures, and it doesn’t cost a great deal to use.
Here the children have been working with sculptor David Mayne to create 3D sculpture based on the work of Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore. David uses foil to create his own sculptures, which he has exhibited at Wakefield Art Gallery in the past. His work can also be seen at places such as Weston Park Museum and Magna in Sheffield.
