St Mary’s Primary School in Wakefield chose the theme of 'bridges' for their art workshops. Working with learning staff they explored the ideas of structure, strength and design, and created their own models of different kinds of bridges. The children linked this with the design of The Hepworth Wakefield's footbridge.
Their favourite type of bridge was the suspension bridge, proudly displayed here by one of the design teams.
