Year 8 and 9 students from Wakefield City High explored the theme of internal space. Working with staff from the learning team they looked at all the spaces a new gallery needs for the visiting public, the staff, and the collections.
Using this new knowledge, the students worked in teams taking on character roles as architect, project manager and visitor service managers, to develop and design their own gallery.
They then had to present their ideas to the other teams to decide on the best design.
