Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, The Hepworth Wakefield Trust will receive an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go even further towards supporting Yorkshire’s new world-class art gallery.
Please fill in the Gift Aid form under 'Related Downloads' and return it to us at: The Hepworth Wakefield, c/o Wakefield Art Gallery, Wentworth Terrace, Wakefield, WF1 3QW.
Notes – Who is eligible?
1. You must be a UK taxpayer to make a Gift Aid declaration.
2. If you are not a UK taxpayer, The Hepworth Wakefield Trust cannot recover tax, but would be extremely grateful for your donation.
3. To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount The Hepworth Wakefield Trust will claim in the tax year (currently 20p for each £1 you give – the extra 8p we receive is a transitional relief from the government, which has been provided to allow charities to adjust to changes in the basic rate of income tax).
4. You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying The Hepworth Wakefield Trust in writing.
5. If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that The Hepworth Wakefield Trust reclaims, you can cancel your declaration.
6. If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your self-assessment tax return.
7. Your declaration covers all donations you make in the future. Please notify The Hepworth Wakefield Trust if you change your name or address (The Hepworth Wakefield Trust, Wakefield Art Gallery, Wentworth Terrace, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF1 3QW.)
