An ambitious exhibition programme will bring exciting new works to Wakefield, blockbuster shows to attract the crowds, and create opportunities for artists from within the Yorkshire region and across national and international boundaries.
Artists will be at the centre of activities, showing their work, developing commissions, giving performances, in residence or leading workshops.
Wakefield Art Gallery (and artists) will continue to work closely with local communities to explore new ideas and opportunities to develop exciting and imaginative activities ranging from learning programmes for schools and colleges through to family sessions and community events.
The Hepworth Wakefield will offer high quality spaces for social and corporate events, seminars, conferences, functions and temporary exhibitions.
